Use of the app
The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use. You use the app at your own responsibility and follow applicable laws.
No medical advice
The Food Formula provides general nutrition and wellness information for educational purposes only. It is not intended as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical or dietary advice.
Subscriptions and payments
- Subscriptions are offered through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Payments, trials and renewals are handled by those stores.
- Cancellation is only possible through your Apple or Google account. Deleting your account with us does not automatically cancel your subscription.
- Subscription status is managed through RevenueCat, which syncs purchase status between the stores and the app. We do not receive card or payment details.
Auto-renewing subscription (EULA)
- Title: The Food Formula.
- Duration: monthly or yearly, automatically renewing.
- Price: as shown on the purchase screen in the App Store or Google Play, in your local currency.
- The subscription renews automatically at the same price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Manage or cancel through your App Store or Google Play account settings after purchase.
- Any free trial ends immediately when you purchase a subscription.
License (EULA)
We grant you a personal, non-transferable and non-exclusive license to use The Food Formula on devices you own or control, for private purposes only and in line with App Store and Google Play usage rules. Reverse engineering, resale or commercial use is not allowed.
Content you add
- You remain the owner of the recipes, meals, photos and notes you put into the app. You only grant us the right to store and process them so the app works for you.
- Only upload material you are allowed to use. Photos or screenshots of recipes from books, magazines or other websites may be scanned and stored for your own personal use only.
- Your own recipes and scanned items are private and visible to you; a recipe is only reachable through a share link when you share it yourself.
- Results of AI features (plate, barcode, recipe and pantry recognition) are estimates and may deviate. Always check important values yourself.
Intellectual property
All content, texts, logos and programs of The Food Formula are owned by Rowena Isabella Wehnes. Copying or publishing without permission is not allowed.
Liability
We do our best to make the app carefully, but we are not liable for direct or indirect damage from using the app or website.
Changes
We may update these terms. The most current version is always available on this page.
